Building and Engineering Permit Status

The City of Bend's online service for building and engineering customers provides the ability to check the status of permit applications and schedule inspections.  Permits may be accessed from any computer with Internet access; whether at home, the office , or on the road.

Instructions:

How do I check the status of a permit?

1)  Select Select Permit in the left-hand menu.

2)  Input your application number and pin, click Submit.

3)  Select Plan Tracking Status.

4)  Under Action Summary you  can follow your permit through the process.  The process steps are:

IR - In Review
AP - Approved
CO - Completed
HD/HPZ - On Hold

How do I schedule an inspection?

1)  Select on Schedule / Cancel Inspections in the left-hand menu.

2)  Input your application number and pin, click Submit.

3)  Select Schedule and Inspection or Cancel an Inspection.

4) Select a type of permit to schedule.

Note: Schedule everything but electrical on the BLDG Permit section and only electrical on the ELEC Permit section.

5) Select an existing inspection or Schedule an inspection not on this list.

6) Select Change if the current date is not accurate.

Note: Inspections can be scheduled until 11:30 PM for the next business day.

The City of Bend's online services for business registrations provide the ability to apply for a new registration, renew an existing registration, pay for registration fees, and update registration information.

If you prefer, you can also mail or hand-deliver your application form. Once received by the Community Development Department Permit Center, the application will be reviewed and processed. Typically business registrations are issued within 2 weeks of submittal of a completed application form and required payment.
