Online Self Service

The Town has implemented a new, comprehensive computer system to better streamline our permitting and inspection process. This system includes online access, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to our citizens and contractors called "eSuiteOpens in New Window". After successfully logging in you will be able to view all your permits, check the status of your permits, and schedule your inspections online.

Contractors will need to activate their account and create a new username and password to gain access to the new system. If this is your first time using the new system, please print and refer to the Instructions (PDF)Opens in New Window.

We offer multiple ways to schedule your inspections:

• Online
  The best way is to use our new eSuiteOpens in New Window system by registering with the Instructions (PDF)Opens in New Window.
• By Phone
  You can also call in your inspections by using our automated call-in system. Please call 954-797-1128 or 954-797-1129. You will need the phone access code and inspection code found in your permit package.
• By Email
  You can email the Building Division at with your inspection request. Please include your permit number, type of inspection you are requesting, and job address. The Building Division hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Any inspection requests that are sent via email after regular business hours, will be scheduled the day after the following business day.

ProjectDox (Electronic Plans Review)

The ProjectDox program allows for the electronic submission of site plans and building permit applications. Use of this program reduces the amount of paper, travel time and expense, and cost inefficiencies associated with the previous method for site plans and building permit application.

Steps to ProjectDox Plans Review

1. You must first obtain an application number before electronically uploading your drawings and documents. Please come into the Building Division with a completed permit application and the submittal fee (cash/check only). Note: Residential submittal fee is 0.75%, and Commercial submittal fee is 1.00% of the job value.
2. You will receive an invitation via e-mail from ProjectDox to log in and start uploading your drawings and documents.
3. Follow Uploading Instructions Opens in New Windowto submit drawings and documents properly.
